Carmela provides fresh food to thousands of private customers, restaurants and learning institutions in Israel, operating high number of drivers and trucks every day.
Carmela was looking for automated solution in order to optimize delivery, improve delivery time and reduce costs. There was a great need to ensure that delivery can be done same day or within a spe cific timeline to ensure products are fresh and on time.
Using OfficeTrack planning, optimization and advanced cellular forms, Carmela dispatcher enjoy better control and increase management of his field operations. The drivers receive their route on the mobile device and scanned the orders before it is being uploaded to truck and scanned it again once it is delivered to the customer. Carmela is also using OfficeTrack proof of delivery form to record location, time and signature once delivery is completed.
Carmela’s ERP system is integrated with Officetrack to ensure delivery process is automated, delivery orders is creating in OfficeTrack in real time and using optimization it is being assigned to specific driver and updated with delivery time. Officetrack automatically and dynamically determines the distribution lines for the same day in different areas. Carmela’s production floor manager review and modify his team route as needed. The Mobile Officetrack app shows the route to drivers, allowing navigation.
