Tempel regains full control of its field operations with OfficeTrack

The challenge: controlling field operations and standardizing deliverables for multiple clients

Tempel is a company specialized in the implementation, operation, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and climate control solutions, including air conditioning, free cooling, and solar panels. Its operation combines two distinct business lines, each with specific workflows and technical requirements.

With an average field team of 25 to 30 technicians and a small operational management team, Tempel needed a tool that would allow full control of operations as the number of projects, technicians, and clients continued to grow.

Before adopting OfficeTrack, the company relied on different platforms that addressed only parts of the process. Some allowed task scheduling but did not generate complete deliverables; others enabled tracking but lacked real productivity measurement or online data validation.

The absence of an integrated solution led to errors, rework, and operational setbacks. In many cases, critical field information—such as photographic evidence, measurements, and technical data—was sent through multiple channels, making consolidation and validation difficult. Once a technician left the site, correcting an incomplete report became complex and costly.

Tempel implemented OfficeTrack as a single platform to plan, execute, control, and validate all field activities across both telecommunications and climate control operations.

The solution made it possible to:

– Assign tasks and schedules with up to 15 days of advance visibility.
– Capture critical evidence in real time from the mobile app, including photos, measurements, and technical data.
– Validate the quality of each report before closing the task.
– Measure technician productivity based on actual execution times.
– Automatically generate customized reports in PDF or Excel format, tailored to each client’s requirements.
– Monitor task status in real time, from execution through administrative closure.

The implementation was led internally by the Tempel team, with support from the OfficeTrack team. Within a few weeks, the platform was fully operational and adapted to the company’s workflows.

Results

With OfficeTrack, Tempel regained full control of its field operations and significantly reduced rework.

Report delivery times were reduced from four or five days to just one day, enabling much faster and more reliable task closure. Today, the company manages more than 3,600 active tasks through the platform, with full visibility into execution, validation, and closure status.

In addition, real-time data availability improved workload allocation, optimized technician productivity, and reduced costs associated with errors and repeat visits.

As a direct result of this increased operational control, Tempel accelerated its administrative cycles, improved cash flow, and increased end-customer satisfaction.
